Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: April 5, 2025

Introduction:

Welcome to Oxydise Wellness Lab. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (oxydisewellness.co.uk) and the booking or use of any wellness services we provide, including consultations, IV drips, red light therapy, cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), and sensory deprivation sessions. By accessing our site or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. We recommend that you read these Terms carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Who We Are: Oxydise Wellness Lab (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a wellness provider based in the United Kingdom. We operate in accordance with applicable UK laws and regulations, and we are committed to providing a safe and high-quality service. Our services are delivered by trained professionals and, where required, under the oversight of qualified healthcare practitioners. We strive to meet the standards and regulatory expectations set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for independent healthcare services in the UK.

Age and Eligibility: Our services and website are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not normally provide treatments to minors without parental/guardian consent and supervision. If you are under 18, you should obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using our site or services. We reserve the right to refuse service or access to the site if we believe you do not meet applicable age requirements or if providing the service would violate any laws or regulations.

Scope of Services

Oxydise Wellness Lab offers wellness and therapeutic services designed to support your health and wellbeing. These include but are not limited to: personal wellness consultations, intravenous (IV) vitamin and nutrient drips, red light therapy sessions, whole-body cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions, and sensory deprivation (floatation) experiences. All services are provided by our staff in our designated facility. Details of each service, including what it involves, potential benefits, and any known risks or contraindications, are available on our website or can be explained by our staff upon request.

Service Availability: We strive to ensure that our services are available as advertised. However, all services are subject to availability and our scheduling. We reserve the right to modify, substitute, or discontinue any service at our discretion. We may also introduce new services from time to time, which will be subject to these Terms. If you have booked a service that becomes unavailable (for example, due to equipment maintenance or staff illness), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule or provide an alternative if appropriate.

Not Medical Advice or Treatment: While some of our services have health-related benefits, they are provided as wellness services and not as medical treatment for any specific medical condition. Oxydise Wellness Lab does not diagnose medical conditions or offer medical cures. The content on our website and any information provided by Oxydise Wellness Lab in person, by phone, or via electronic communication is for general wellness information only. It is not intended to be medical advice. You should consult a doctor or qualified healthcare provider for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any health condition. Our services are complementary to, and not a replacement for, conventional medical care. If you are currently under medical care or have underlying health conditions, we strongly advise you to consult with your GP or specialist before using our services and to keep them informed about any wellness treatments you undertake.

Booking Appointments and Registration

You may book appointments for our services through our website’s booking system (if available), by phone, or in person at our facility. When booking an appointment, you agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information. This includes your full name, contact information (phone number and email), and any information requested regarding your health status that may be relevant to the service. Providing incorrect or false information could affect the quality or safety of the service we provide and may result in us refusing or cancelling your appointment.

Medical Questionnaire: For your safety, all clients are required to complete a medical questionnaire and/or consultation form before undergoing certain treatments. This will typically include disclosure of any relevant medical history, current medications, allergies, or health conditions (such as heart conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy, respiratory issues, pregnancy, etc.) that could affect your ability to safely participate in a treatment. We rely on you to disclose fully and accurately. You may be asked to review and update this information at each visit. If you do not complete the required health questionnaire or consent forms, or if we believe it is not safe to proceed based on the information provided (or lack thereof), we reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment. Non-disclosure of important medical information is taken seriously: if you withhold or misrepresent facts about your health, Oxydise Wellness Lab will not be liable for any adverse consequences that could have been avoided with accurate information.

Informed Consent: Before your first session of any treatment (and periodically for subsequent sessions), our staff will explain the nature of the treatment, its intended benefits, and any potential risks or side effects. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. We will ask you to sign a consent form indicating that you understand the information provided and agree to proceed. You have the right to decline or withdraw from a treatment at any stage prior to or during the session. However, if you decide to stop or cancel a session after it has begun, you may still be charged for the time or resources allocated. We cannot perform certain treatments without your signed informed consent, as required by healthcare regulations and our own policies.

Accounts and Registration (Future Features): At present, our website does not require you to create a user account to book services or access information. All bookings can be made as a guest by providing the necessary contact and health information each time. If in the future we introduce user accounts for booking or other features (for example, the ability to manage appointments, view service history, or make payments online), you will be required to register an account with a secure password. In such a case, you will be responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities under your account. We will update these Terms with any additional rules governing user accounts at that time.

Pricing, Deposits, and Payments

All prices for our services are provided either on our website or communicated to you at the time of booking. Prices are in Great British Pounds (GBP) and include any applicable taxes (such as VAT) unless stated otherwise. We make every effort to ensure that pricing information is accurate and up to date, but we reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and to change prices at our discretion. If the price of a service changes after you have booked but before you receive the service, we will inform you of the change. You will have the option to proceed at the new price or cancel the appointment without penalty if the adjusted price is not acceptable to you.

Deposits: We may require a deposit or advance payment to secure certain bookings (for example, long sessions or group bookings, or high-demand services). If a deposit is required, this will be communicated to you at the time of booking, including the amount and how it can be paid (e.g., credit/debit card or bank transfer). Your booking is not confirmed until any required deposit is received. Deposits will typically be applied toward the total cost of the service. We will provide you with a receipt or confirmation for any deposit paid.

Payment Methods: Currently, Oxydise Wellness Lab does not process payments through the website. Payment for services is typically collected in person at our clinic on the day of your appointment. We accept cash and major credit or debit cards. In some cases, we may be able to take payment over the phone or via a secure payment link if arranged in advance. We do not store your card details on our website. If in the future we implement an online payment system (for example, to pay deposits or purchase services/gift cards through the site), it will be through a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. Any online payment feature will be communicated clearly and protected with appropriate security measures. You agree to pay for all services you receive in a timely manner and in full, unless alternate arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

Refunds and Credits: Our goal is your satisfaction with our services. However, due to the nature of wellness services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes and therefore we do not typically offer refunds for services that have been provided in full. If you are unsatisfied with a service for a valid reason, please inform us so we can address your concerns – for example, if you experienced a problem during the service. Any refund or partial refund will be at our discretion, except where required by law. If you have prepaid for a package of multiple sessions or a gift card, our refund policy for those will be explained at the time of purchase. Generally, prepaid packages are non-refundable once any part of the package has been used, but we may allow transfers or exchanges for unused portions at our discretion. In the event that you are unable to continue a pre-paid course of treatment due to medical reasons (with supporting documentation from a doctor), we will consider refunding the unused portion or providing credit for other services.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please inform us as soon as possible. You can contact us by phone or email (the contact details are provided on our website) to make a cancellation or change. The following cancellation policy applies to most bookings:

  • Cancelling or Rescheduling with Sufficient Notice: If you cancel or request to reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time (or any longer notice period if specified for particular services), you will not typically incur a cancellation fee and any deposit paid can be refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment. We appreciate as much notice as you can give, as this allows us to offer the slot to other clients.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel an appointment on short notice (generally less than 24 hours prior, or as otherwise specified at booking) or fail to attend your appointment, we reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee. This fee may be equal to part or all of the service fee or the forfeiture of your deposit, depending on the circumstances. We will inform you of the applicable policy when you book.
  • No-Shows: If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment and have not provided any notice, this will be treated as a no-show. No-shows may result in the loss of any deposit and/or a requirement to pay a fee before re-booking. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings or may result in us refusing to accept future bookings from you.
  • Exceptional Circumstances: We do understand that emergencies and unforeseen events happen. If a last-minute cancellation is due to circumstances beyond your control (for example, sudden illness or family emergency), please inform us. We may, at our discretion, waive or reduce any cancellation fees in such cases. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Clinic Cancellations: In rare cases, we might need to cancel or reschedule your appointment from our end (for example, due to staff illness, severe weather, equipment failure, or other unexpected disruptions). If we initiate a cancellation or change, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient time, or provide a refund of any prepayments/deposits if rescheduling is not possible. We will not charge you any fees for appointments we cancel, and we will do our best to accommodate you with an alternative. However, we are not liable for any other costs or inconveniences you may incur due to our cancellation (such as travel costs), beyond the refund of what you may have already paid to us.

Client Responsibilities and Safety Rules

Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. By using our services, you agree to the following responsibilities on your part to ensure a safe experience for everyone:

  • Provide Accurate Health Information: As noted, you must fully disclose any health conditions, medications, allergies, or other relevant information requested in our medical questionnaire or by our staff. This includes any changes in your health status since your last visit. If you are unsure whether something is relevant, please err on the side of caution and inform us.
  • Follow Staff Instructions: During your treatment or session, you must follow all instructions given by our practitioners or staff. This may include guidance on how to position yourself, how to use provided safety equipment (for example, ear protection in the hyperbaric chamber or appropriate attire for cryotherapy), breathing techniques, or when to signal for assistance. These instructions are for your safety and the effectiveness of the treatment. If at any time you do not understand an instruction, please ask for clarification.
  • Pre- and Post-Session Guidelines: Some treatments may have specific preparation or aftercare guidelines (for example, hydrating before and after an IV drip, avoiding certain activities for a period after cryotherapy, or showering before a sensory deprivation float). We will inform you of any such requirements, and you agree to adhere to them. Failing to follow pre/post-care instructions could increase the risk of adverse effects or reduce the benefit of the service.
  • Personal Conduct: We expect all clients to behave respectfully towards our staff and other clients. Harassment, abuse, or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the session and/or refusal of future service. If you are under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs, we reserve the right to refuse service for your safety and the safety of our staff. Similarly, if you arrive in a condition that, in our professional judgment, makes the treatment unsafe (for example, extremely high blood pressure or signs of illness that contraindicate the session), we may require you to reschedule or obtain medical clearance before proceeding.
  • Use of Facilities and Equipment: When using our facilities or equipment, you agree to do so with care. For example, in a sensory deprivation tank, you should follow guidelines to prevent salt water from getting into eyes or covering any cuts on your skin as advised; in a cryotherapy chamber, you must wear all required protective gear (such as gloves and socks) provided. If you notice any discomfort or malfunction of equipment, alert staff immediately. Do not attempt to tamper with or operate equipment on your own beyond the instructions given. You may be responsible for damage to our property caused by your misuse or negligence.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you help us maintain a safe environment and allow us to focus on providing you with a beneficial wellness experience. If you have any questions or concerns about what is expected of you, please ask a member of our team. We are here to help you feel comfortable and secure during your visit.

Health and Medical Disclaimers

Oxydise Wellness Lab provides wellness services that can complement a healthy lifestyle. However, it is important to understand the following disclaimers regarding our scope of practice:

  • Not a Substitute for Medical Care: Our services are not intended to replace professional medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have injuries, illnesses, or serious medical conditions, you should seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner. Any decisions about your medical care should be made in consultation with your physician. You should not disregard medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on our website or discussed during our wellness sessions.
  • Individual Results May Vary: Each individual’s body responds differently to wellness therapies. While we aim to help you achieve your wellness goals, we do not guarantee any particular results or outcomes from our treatments. For example, one client may feel energized after an IV drip, while another might not notice a significant change; some may experience relief from muscle soreness after cryotherapy, while others may not. Any testimonials or examples we provide (on our site or in brochures) are illustrative and not a promise of what you personally will experience.
  • Potential Risks and Side Effects: We will explain the known common risks or side effects of our treatments during your consultation and in the consent form. Generally, our non-invasive treatments are low-risk when used appropriately. However, no wellness or medical service is entirely without risk. Possible side effects might include, for instance, mild dehydration or temporary lightheadedness after a hyperbaric oxygen session, mild skin redness after red light therapy, transient dizziness or bruising at an IV injection site, etc. Serious adverse reactions are rare, but it is important you immediately inform staff if you feel unwell during or after a treatment. By undergoing our services, you acknowledge these risks. We will take all reasonable steps to minimize any risk and to ensure your safety.
  • No Guaranteed Cure or Prevention: We make no claim that our services can cure diseases or serve as a formal treatment for any medical condition. The services are intended to improve wellness, support recovery, and enhance wellbeing. Any incidental improvements in medical conditions should be seen as a positive side benefit, not the primary purpose of the service. For example, while hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been studied for certain medical indications and may promote healing, any such use in our lab is purely adjunctive and not prescribed as a medical treatment for a condition.
  • Consultation Requirement: For certain services (like IV drips or HBOT), a consultation with our qualified practitioner (such as a doctor or nurse on our team) is required before the first session to ensure the service is safe and suitable for you. This consultation does not constitute a comprehensive medical exam, but it focuses on the information relevant to the specific service. Based on this screening, we may recommend against or modify the service for you. Please heed any such advice — it is given in your best interest. If we determine that we cannot safely provide a service to you (due to contraindications or risk factors), we will explain the reasons and perhaps suggest you seek further medical evaluation. We reserve the right to refuse or defer treatment when safety is in question.

By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you understand these disclaimers. You also agree that, to the extent permitted by law, you will not hold Oxydise Wellness Lab or its staff liable for not achieving your desired outcomes or for any issues arising from the inherent risks of wellness treatments, provided we have exercised reasonable care and skill in delivering the service. (Specific provisions on limitations of liability are set out below.)

Limitation of Liability

Reasonable Care: Oxydise Wellness Lab will provide its services with reasonable skill and care. Your wellbeing is important to us, and we strive to maintain high standards. However, if we fail to meet the expected standard of care and you suffer loss or injury as a result, you may have rights under consumer law or negligence law. Nothing in these Terms seeks to limit or exclude our liability for: (a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees; (b) any damage or liability incurred by you as a result of our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability which cannot be lawfully limited or excluded under English law.

Exclusions and Limits: Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Oxydise Wellness Lab shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of income, loss of business, or loss of profit (whether direct or indirect) arising from the use of our website or services. Our services are provided for private individual use to improve personal wellbeing, and not for commercial or re-sale purposes.
  • Any indirect, consequential, or special losses or damages you may suffer in connection with using our site or services. This includes, for example, losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time you agreed to these Terms. We are not responsible for incidental costs you may incur related to our service (such as travel expenses or accommodations) in the event of a needed reschedule or an unsatisfactory outcome.
  • Any harm or injury that results from your failure to disclose pertinent medical information, or from you disregarding the advice or instructions given by our practitioners. (For instance, if you fail to mention a known allergy or a medical implant and that omission leads to an injury during a treatment, we will not be held responsible.)
  • Any temporary discomfort or minor side effects that are common and inherent risks of the services when performed properly (for example, mild muscle soreness after cryotherapy or temporary fatigue after a session). We will, of course, help manage or advise on these effects if they occur, but they are not considered a service failure.

No Warranty for Specific Results: We do not warrant or guarantee that any specific outcome will result from the use of our services or website. All information and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, except that we promise to deliver services as described, with due care, and in compliance with applicable regulations. We make no warranty that our website will be available uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content (including third-party content links) is accurate or complete. While we use current medical and wellness knowledge in designing our services, we make no explicit guarantees about the efficacy or suitability of a service for your particular purpose beyond the scope of general wellbeing.

Website Use: When using our website, you acknowledge that the internet is not completely secure. We take reasonable measures to protect our website and communications (such as using SSL encryption for forms), but we cannot guarantee that the website will be free from viruses, hacking, or other security breaches. You are responsible for using up-to-date antivirus software on your own device. Oxydise Wellness Lab will not be liable for any damage to your computer or other devices, or for any loss of data, that results from your use of our website or any files downloaded from it, except where caused by our negligence.

Third-Party Services: Occasionally, we might recommend or coordinate with third-party providers (for example, if we refer you to a specialist, laboratory for tests, or an external wellness practitioner for complementary services). If you choose to engage with those third-party services, you will be subject to their terms and policies. Oxydise Wellness Lab is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or services of any third parties. We do not assume liability for any treatment or advice you receive from other professionals outside our clinic, even if we facilitated the introduction.

In summary, while we will do our utmost to keep you safe and satisfied, our liability to you is limited as described above. By using our services, you accept the inherent risks and limitations outlined in these Terms. This Limitation of Liability section survives the termination or expiration of your agreement with us.

Intellectual Property and Website Use

All content on the Oxydise Wellness Lab website – including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video content, digital downloads, and software – is the property of Oxydise Wellness Lab or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The compilation of all content on the site is our exclusive property. “Oxydise Wellness Lab” and our logo are trademarks/service marks that belong to us. You are not permitted to use our name, logos, or any content from our site in any way that infringes our rights or misleads others, except with our prior written consent.

Permitted Use of Site: You may access and use our website for your personal, non-commercial use, such as learning about our services, booking appointments, or contacting us. You may print or download copies of pages for your personal reference (for example, printing these Terms or a service description) but not for further distribution. Any other use of the site content, including modifying, publishing, transmitting to others, or creating derivative works, is prohibited without our explicit permission.

Prohibited Uses: When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, or that is fraudulent or has an unlawful purpose.
  • Use the site to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications (“spam”).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, the server on which it is hosted, or any server, computer, or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via hacking, password mining, or other means.
  • Knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not use the site in a manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of the site.
  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the site for any purpose without our express written permission.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of any software that is part of our website.

Breaching the above provisions might constitute a criminal offense under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 or other laws. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them by disclosing your identity (and any other relevant information) to those authorities. Your right to use our site will cease immediately if you engage in any prohibited use.

User-Provided Content: If in the future our website allows you to post comments, reviews, or other content (for example, a blog comment or testimonial), you must ensure that any such content you provide is lawful, respectful, and does not infringe the rights of others. You remain responsible for any content you post. We reserve the right to remove or edit any user-generated content on our site at our discretion. By submitting any content, you grant Oxydise Wellness Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish that content in connection with our business.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is very important to us. Our collection and use of personal data (including sensitive health information) is explained in detail in our Privacy Policy (available below, or on a separate page on our website). We urge you to read the Privacy Policy to understand how we safeguard your personal information. In summary, by using our services, you acknowledge that we will need to collect and process certain personal data about you (such as contact details and health information) and possibly share it with service providers or regulators when necessary, all in accordance with UK data protection laws. We will handle your data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We will not sell your personal data to third parties, and we implement appropriate security measures to protect it. If you have any questions or concerns about your personal data, you can contact us as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

By agreeing to these Terms and/or by signing our consent forms when you visit, you also consent to the processing of your personal data (including health data) as described in our Privacy Policy. You have rights regarding your data, such as the right to access or correct it, and the right to withdraw consent for marketing communications. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more information on your rights and how to exercise them.

Regulatory Compliance (CQC and Healthcare Standards)

Oxydise Wellness Lab is committed to maintaining high standards of care and safety. We comply with all relevant regulations for healthcare and wellness services in the UK. This includes adhering to guidelines and rules set forth by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) where applicable. Our clinic either is registered with the CQC or operates within the scope of services that meet or exceed CQC standards for quality and safety. We maintain proper clinical governance, which means we have systems in place for risk management, hygiene and infection control, staff training and qualifications, and handling of emergencies.

Complaints and Feedback: We always welcome feedback on our services. If you are satisfied, we love to hear that. If you are not, we want to address it. Should you have any complaints about the service you received, please inform a member of staff or contact the clinic manager as soon as possible. We take complaints seriously and will investigate and respond in line with our complaints policy (which is available on request). We aim to resolve any issues directly and amicably. However, if you feel that a serious concern has not been adequately addressed by us, you have the right to escalate the matter. Because we fall under healthcare service regulations, you may contact the CQC to report any serious unresolved concerns about our service. (Note: The CQC does not resolve individual disputes or compensation claims, but they do monitor and regulate service providers to ensure standards. Contact information for the CQC is available on their official website or we can provide it to you.) Additionally, any practitioner who is a licensed healthcare professional (e.g., doctor or nurse) is also subject to their professional regulator (such as the General Medical Council or Nursing and Midwifery Council), and complaints about professional conduct can be directed there. We sincerely hope it never comes to that, and we will do our utmost to address issues to your satisfaction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time, especially as our services evolve or if laws and regulations change. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on our website and update the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this document. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically to ensure you are aware of any updates. If you have a booking or ongoing engagement with us, we may attempt to notify you of significant changes (for example, by email or a notice on the site), but we recommend checking the Terms on our site for the latest version. Your continued use of our website or services after changes to the Terms have been made constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with an update to the Terms, you should cease using our services and website, and if necessary, you may cancel any upcoming appointments (subject to our cancellation policy) before the new Terms apply to those services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By engaging with Oxydise Wellness Lab, you agree that any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer residing in another part of the UK (Scotland or Northern Ireland), you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts under consumer protection laws. We recognize your rights as a consumer and nothing in these Terms affects the rights you are afforded by law.

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
